Hnefatafl with Dragon's Tears?
Antler disks or ceramic pieces would seem more appropriate.
I admit that I don't know much about glass in the period, but I have my doubts that it would be "wasted" on gaming tokens.
Though, overall, it was a good piece.

Re: Hnefatafl with Dragon's Tears?
It's certainly higher-class than it should be, though there is some evidence for similar playing pieces being used. However, I will cheerfully admit that it's mainly a matter of financial compromise. We found a cheap supply of the tokens; early clay tokens were continually being broken and being lost, and I have the antler pieces I planned once to convert into playing pieces but have never gotten around to working on them. When you consider that for our portrayal, the board would probably have been scratched onto a rock or whatever was convenient and the pieces would have been rocks that were gathered for a game or two, yeah, you're right. Too high class for our impression, and if people keep noting it, there's no doubt that I'll get feeling guilty and come up with a replacement!
