Reenactor, artist, photographer, writer. And sometimes, when I'm lucky, I can bring them all together!

I have been in the SCA since 1972 (but am getting frustrated by the folk who are farbs even by the SCA's low standards), the NWTA (rev war reenacting) since 1989 and Regia Anglorum (British history 950-1066) since 2004 (I am the GL of Micel Folcland, which is the Wisconsin-Indiana-Illinois branch of Regia). I have a healthy interest in most other eras, in the philosophy of living history and in matters historical.
I have a wife of thirty years, a frilla of seven years, four mostly sweet kitties and a cannon on my front porch. I haven't had to worry about Christian evangelists and door-to-door salesmen since it took up residence there!
